What is Avoca doing to protect our customers and staff to provide the safest retail environment where possible?

  • We have provided multiple hand sanitation units throughout various locations within our stores for use by staff and customers.
  • We have increased resources around cleaning. We are diligently cleaning all our surfaces within our stores which include door handles, extra cleaning of our tables, sugar bowls etc and we will continue to remain viligant.
  • We are committed to maintaining a safe environment where we are advising customers to respect our policy around not accepting reusable/keep cups along with asking customers to use contactless payment until further notice.
  • We have implemeted a social distancing policy in our restaurants - tables will be a minimum 1 metre apart to ensure safe practise and an enjoyable dining experience. During this period please bear with us as there may be limited tables and on occasion queues.
  • We have also installed information notices in all our public toilets to advise customers of the HSE guidelines on good hand hygience.
  • All Avoca staff members have been briefed and retrained on the importance of correct hand hygiene and to clean surfaces regularly within our stores.
  • We would like to ask customers if they need to cough or sneeze please do so into their elbow and wash their hands. Kindly avoid leaving any tissues or other items behind and place these items into bins provded in our stores. Please avoid shaking hands.
  • We are putting in place a service around 'ordering and collection' of a limited and fabulous range of your Avoca food favourites.
  • Additionally, for our loyal customers who cannot visit our stores, we will be arranging a limited delivery service to make your life easier.
