We hope you’re delighted with your Avoca order! If for any reason you aren’t, we're happy to accept your unwanted items. If you're nearby an Avoca store, we offer easy in-store returns!
Christmas Return Policy
For purchases made on Nov 1st, 2024, until the end of the year 2024, we will gladly accept returns on your *purchases at the original price paid up until January 15th, 2025. Any return must adhere to our return policy guidelines and proof of purchase is required. Anything purchased in *sale or promotion must be returned within 14 days.
Online Return Policy
You can return items via post or to an Avoca store* within 30 days of purchase for full-price items and 14 days for any sale items. Any returned items must be unused/unworn and in the same condition as it was when you received them, all tags/labels must be attached and be in their original packaging. To process any return, please ensure you have your online invoice, order number, receipt, or gift receipt. Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate exchanges from our online store.
We kindly ask you to contact us in advance of returning your items or we may not accept your return. The cost of returning unwanted items is at your expense and we highly recommend that you use a carrier who can give you a "proof of posting", as until the parcel is received by us, it will remain your responsibility.
Avoca Stores Return Policy
For items purchased in Avoca stores, we are happy to exchange, or offer a credit for unsuitable goods returned unused or unworn within 30 days together with proof of purchase. No credit is offered on sale items, exchange within 7 days only. If local to an Avoca store, you can return items purchased online in-store (*excluding our Kildare Village and Airport store), you will require proof of purchase by showing your order invoice (receipt or email confirmation with order number). Please be aware for orders purchased using Paypal, stores will only be able to issue an Avoca gift card as a refund.
Return Exceptions
Due to health and hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of face coverings, undergarments, and earrings (unless faulty). All swimwear is only returnable if unworn and the hygiene strip is in place. Personalised products cannot be returned (your statutory rights are not affected).
Due to the perishable nature of food products, we only accept returns on food and wine if it is within the 30-day return policy. Any food or wine item must be unopened, unboxed, and in the same condition as it was when it was received or the return will not be accepted.
Avoca gift boxes are not refundable (unless damaged).
Exchange Policy
Unfortunately, we are unable to process any exchanges from our online store via the post. Please re-order the items you want and follow the process outlined above to send your items back for a refund.

How Do I Return My Online Order?
Click and Post Returns (Valid for Republic of Ireland Only)
For our customers in the Republic of Ireland, Click & Post offers a quick and convenient way to return your Avoca purchase. Simply visit An Post’s Click & Post service, https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Click-and-Post/Returns
- Enter "Avoca" as your retailer.
- Select your reasons for returning.
- Type in your order number.
You’ll have two options for returning your item: Drop-off at an AnPost Location or Book a Collection.
Returns By Post to Online Store (Valid for Countries in the European Union)
- The initial step in returning an unwanted purchase to Avoca is to contact us and notify us of the return. Please include your order number in the email or ticket so we can identify your order. For returning items to Avoca from countries outside of Ireland, please see below information for International Returns.
- For items being returned from outside the country of Ireland, this step is crucial to reduce the chance that your parcel will be delayed in customs processing.
- Make sure that all returned items are unused/unworn. Any items returned should be in the same condition as it was when you received it. Must include all tags or labels and be in its original packaging.
- We highly recommend that you use a carrier who can give you a "proof of posting", as until the parcel is received by us, it will remain your responsibility. The cost of returning unwanted items is at your expense.

International Returns
For orders returning to Avoca from any country outside the European Union (including the UK), please note that they may be subject to tax/duty charges upon return. To ensure a smooth return process and to prevent delays caused by parcels being held in customs, we kindly request that you contact us before sending back your items so we can support you in the returns process.
Please contact us in advance to notify us of your intention to return your items. Once we have confirmed your return request, we will provide you with further instructions to facilitate the return.

Refunds
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment upon presentation of the original receipt. Please note that the refund to the original payment method is only valid when returned within our return policy timeframe, which is 30 days for full-price items and 14 days for sale items. Refunds will not be processed for items returned outside the designated return policy timeframe.
Kindly note, that refunds typically take 3-5 days depending on the bank, however, in extreme circumstances allow up to 21 days for refunds to show up on your account. If you paid with a gift card or e-gift card, you will be issued a new e-gift card for the refunded amount.
Additional Information:
The value of returns or refunds is the value of the item at the time of purchase. Gift Cards are treated like cash and are exempt from the returns policy.

Refusing Delivery
If you refuse delivery of your order, the courier will contact Avoca to request approval for the parcel to be returned at Avoca’s expense. If approved by Avoca, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse. Please note that when a parcel is refused, the courier must update their system and reprocess the return, which may cause significant delays—especially for international orders.
Refunds will only be reviewed and processed once the returned items have been received at our warehouse. As per our policy, no refunds will be issued until the items arrive. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.
