Avoca at Mount Usher Gardens is a haven of beauty and tranquillity, with scenic walks and stunning views along the River Vartry. As well as the gardens, we have an Avoca gift shop, and an artisanal food market here. We also have the beautiful Garden Cafe, which serves seasonal, freshly prepared breakfast, brunch and lunches with views over the beautiful gardens.

An award-winning example of Robinsonian Gardens, we count ourselves very lucky to have one of our Avoca locations nestled in this stunning setting. A haven of rare beauty and tranquillity, Mount Usher Gardens was named by Monty Don as one of his favourite gardens in the world. You’ll love its relaxed informality and natural layout. Mount Usher Gardens welcomes self-guided tours or guided group tours of our gardens throughout the year.

Open 7 days a week, our Garden Café at Mount Usher Gardens serves a delicious, seasonal menu. A favourite with locals and visitors alike, you can enjoy the beautiful setting whether dining inside or out. The spacious outdoor seating area is abundant with pretty plants and foliage, while diners inside can enjoy a view of the gardens through the large windows. A perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal before or after a wander through the stunning gardens.
