Avoca Christmas Launch 2019

We were delighted to celebrate the launch of Christmas 2019 at Avoca at Avoca Ballsbridge on Tuesday 19th November. Guests were invited to an evening event to discover the magic of Christmas at Avoca, which celebrated all things handmade.
From festive fare and tasty Christmas treats that are lovingly handmade in our own kitchens and bakeries, to carefully wrapped gifts and specially curated hampers, this year is all about time-honoured traditions, artisanal Irish craft and the attention paid to creating the most special Christmas experience.
On arrival, guests enjoyed a Champagne reception with an exclusive Perrier-Jouët pop-up before perusing the festive food stations where they had the opportunity to meet the makers and taste a selection of delicious, hand-prepared canapés. Once seated in the beautiful surrounds of Fodder restaurant, guests enjoyed a gourmet banquet showcasing Fodder’s delicious dishes, hand-prepared with care and attention by the team of talented chefs. The table displays, curated by Irish floral design company, Worm London, used foraged Irish wildflowers to set the beautiful dining scene, while each course in the carefully chosen menu was paired with wine selected by our resident sommelier, John Hoade. 

It was a fantastic evening from start to finish, and we were delighted to spend it with a wonderful group of guests. Now we truly feel like this year's festivities are underway!
