Christmas Cookery Demo

This Christmas, we’re delighted to host an exclusive festive cookery demo in the beautiful Fernhouse Café at Avoca Kilmacanogue. Join our Executive Chef, Charlie Kenny, as she teams up with Gary Quinn of Kish Fish for an inspiring evening of culinary delights. Gary will showcase a delicious seafood starter, while Charlie will guide you through a showstopping festive main, sharing expert tips for stress-free Christmas cooking and entertaining.

Rounding off the evening, our Executive Pastry Chef, Ludo Lantier, will demonstrate one of his favourite festive desserts, complete with creative tips to give your seasonal baking a unique twist. Follow the feeling—let us inspire your Christmas entertaining with warmth, flair, and a sprinkle of Avoca magic.

Our cookery demos start at 9:30 am sharp and will run for around 1.5 hrs.

Tickets are €15 per person including a mince pie, a glass of mulled wine or a warm spiced apple drink, a recipe booklet and tastings throughout the evening. *Excluding booking fee.

Kicking off the morning will be our very own Executive Chef, Charlie Kenny, she will be teaming up with Gary Quinn of Kish Fish to guide you through some much-loved recipes perfect for Christmas entertaining. 

Festive Baking with Ludo Lantier

Next up, Avoca’s Executive Pastry Chef, Ludo Lantier, will share his top tips for mastering seasonal baking to impress your guests this Christmas. Ludo will demonstrate some of his favourite festive treats, along with creative ways to put a unique twist on classic Christmas desserts.
