Kids Go Free to Mount Usher Gardens This Hallowe'en Weekend

Oct 28, 2020

We have a SPOOK-tacular offer for this Halloween weekend at Mount Usher Gardens!

Kids in costume go free this Saturday and Sunday so you can enjoy a boo-tiful Autumnal stroll through the stunning gardens, followed by some spooky treats from the Avoca Food Market.

Make sure your little ones pick their most fang-tastic fancy dress costumes and are ready to haunt the gardens this weekend! The perfect end to your family's mid-term break, October is a stunning time for the gardens as the leaves turn.

It's a great time to enjoy a wander through the natural gardens, and it's a wonderful activity to enjoy. Mount Usher is laid out across 22 acres along the banks of the River Vartry as it tumbles over a series of cascades on its way to the sea. It is a lovely example of a true Robinsonian style of garden with its free-flowing informality and natural design. You’ll find over 5,000 species of plant, many of them rare and exotic, all grown organically, creating a tapestry of colour throughout the seasons. There is also a tree trail to follow along your walk so you can count all the tree varieties you spy along the way - you will find details of the tree trail here.

Enjoy, and Happy Hallowe'en!
