Homespun’s Low Sugar Vegan Flapjacks

INGREDIENTS

Oaty, nutty, seedy, and delicious! These scrumptious flapjacks are low in sugar and high in prebiotic fibre thanks to the Homespun's Chicory Root syrup - available in our Food Markets.



  • 150g of oats

  • 100g of mixed nuts and seeds

  • 180g of Homespun Chicory Root Syrup

  • 50g of virgin coconut oil, melted

  • Handful of dried cranberries (optional)

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 180c.


Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl before adding the melted coconut oil and chicory root syrup and mixing further.


Line a 20x20cm tin and press the mixture into it so it is flat and compact.


Bake for 15mins at 180c.


Leave the tray cool in the oven for 10 mins before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into desired size pieces, and enjoy!
