Situated in Front Square, the Trinity Exam Hall was designed by Sir William Chambers in 1785. The Exam Hall is a symbolic building for Trinity students as it is where they first register for college, where they sit their exams and also where commencement ceremonies take place. Once a theatre, it also plays host to many concerts and musical performances.
The Oscar Wilde quote ' We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' reflects the hope and focus that many have while present in this great room.
