The Big Guy is back! Yes, that’s right, it’s that time of year again. Santa Claus himself will be making his way to Avoca Powerscourt very soon! From Saturday 17th November Santa and Mrs Claus will be joining us at Avoca Powerscourt, where we will have a Winter wonderland set to surprise and delight all our visitors. Christmas animals at the Powerscourt Garden Pavilion, tasty festive treats, Winter walks, gifting workshops at Cool Planet and more, this year’s Christmas Festivities at Avoca Powerscourt have it all!
We hope you’ve been good, because Santa is looking forward to seeing you. Tickets for a visit with the man himself cost €15 + booking fee per child (adults can attend for free) and are non-refundable.
We will be offering special deals on some favourite Avoca goodies, so you can enjoy a sweet treat before or after you see Santa Claus. For the little ones, we will have a kids hot chocolate and rice krispie square for €3.75, and for the big kids there will be coffee with an Avoca mine pie and cream for just €4.95.
Our neighbours at Cool Planet will have an igloo to explore, as well as workshops where you can learn how to make gifts from recyclables. After all, it’s pretty important that we learn to be green to save Santa’s North Pole!
In the Powerscourt Garden Pavilion there will be Christmas Stables where you’ll see Santa’s animals, completely free of charge. With deer, pygmy goats, miniature donkeys, rabbits and guinea pigs, the little ones will love the chance to meet the animals up close.
