Avoca Charity Cookery Demo in Aid of Focus Ireland

Dec 06, 2017

Back for its second year running, the Avoca Charity Cookery Demo in aid of Focus Ireland will take place in The Fernhouse, Avoca Kilmacanoge on the 6th December 2017. Last year the event was a huge success, with just under €10,000 raised on the night for Focus Ireland thanks to the support of over 100 people who attended and others who supported by buying raffle tickets & donating prizes. This year’s demo will be hosted by Rory O’Connell, co-founder of the Ballymaloe cookery school and author of ‘How to Cook Well’, his newly launched cookbook and a favourite in Avoca stores. He will be sharing his top tips for festive cooking and some of his favourite recipes. There will be a raffle on the night too, with lots of amazing prizes to be won throughout the evening. The demo will begin at 7.30pm, with guests welcome to arrive from 5.30pm onwards to enjoy a glass of bubbles or mulled wine and a mince pie, or do a spot of Christmas shopping with in store promotions and offers exclusive to ticket holders on the evening. Tickets are €35 and 100% of ticket sales and proceeds on the night go to Focus Ireland.
