Summer Cookery Demos

Summer is all about celebrating and enjoying some delicious food al fresco. Whether you’re hosting a Summer soiree or simply want some inspiration for the BBQ we've got you covered with our Summer cookery demos.  
From fresh, summer salads to chargrilled BBQ staples there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. 

Locations: Avoca Kilmacanogue in the Fern House Café

Dates: Tuesday 16th July and Tuesday 23rd July

Time: Starts at 9:45 am (1.5 hours)

Ticket Cost: Tickets are €15* per person including tea or coffee, a delicious Avoca treat and a recipe booklet. *Excluding booking fee.

Please note: Avoca cookery demos are hosted by our very passionate and talented culinary team. The demos start at 9:45 a.m. sharp (1.5 hours).

Kicking off on Tuesday 16th July, our executive chef, Charlie Kenny will be talking you through her favourite dishes that can be cooked on (and off) the BBQ as well as preparing some delicious side dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients.

Strawberry Season with Ludo Lantier & Caroline Nelson

Our very own Executive Pastry Chef, Ludo Lantier who will be showcasing his top tips for summer baking, using his favourite seasonal ingredient – strawberries. Grown on Clarke’s farm in Co. Meath, Ludo will showcase how versatile these berries are from pre desse making to stunning centre piece desserts.
