  • How can I purchase a gift card?

    You can purchase gift cards online or in-store (with the exception of our Kildare Village & Airport stores). Gift cards are available in any denomination from a minimum of €10 to €1,000 per card and a maximum order limit of €20,000. If you would like to purchase a gift card online Buy Gift Card or E-Gift Card. 
  • Can I purchase an digital e-gift card?

    Yes! Gift anyone instantly with an e-gift card. Sent to their email address straight away, they can treat themselves to something special in just a few clicks.
  • I did not receive the digital e-gift card email. What should I do?

    Avoca digital e-gift cards are sent to the email address entered in the "Recipient Email" field. This gift is sent to the recipient straight away, so if you think the wrong email address was entered then contact Avoca customer service team. 
    We advise that the recipient searches their email for the subject title "Gift from Avoca" as this is what the digital gift card email subject is.
  • Where can I use my gift card or digital e-gift card?

    Avoca gift cards and digital e-gift cards can be used across *Avoca locations, online, retail stores, cafés, restaurants, food markets and garden centres.
    *Avoca gift cards & digital e-gift cards are not valid at Avoca Kildare Village & Airport stores.

    *Avoca gift cards issued from our Belfast location are issued in sterling. Unfortunately, these gift cards cannot be redeemed online.

  • Where do I find the gift card number and pin?

    On the back of your Avoca gift card you will find the gift card number on the left and the pin on the right side of the card.
  • Can I pay for my online order using multiple gift cards at the same time?

  • Can I pay for my online order using both a gift card and credit card?

    Yes! ! When placing an order online, at checkout you'll see the option to enter your gift card details, once entered and applied, the remaining balance can be paid by credit card. 

    *Please note: Once you enter your gift card number and select apply our system will hold this value for 24-36 hrs for security reasons.

  • Can I send a gift message with my gift card?

    Yes! You can include a message on the gift card page before you add this item to your basket. If you are purchasing multiple gift cards and wish to include a unique message with all, please ensure you add each item to your basket separately to include indvidual message for each.
  • Does my gift card expire?

    Avoca Gift Cards issued after December 2nd  2019, will have an expiry date of 5 years.

  • How will my gift card be delivered?

    Gift cards purchased online are shipped using a courier service. The shipping cost will be added to your total at checkout. Avoca gift cards will incur the minimum standard delivery charge, as all our items are shipped using trackable shipping. You can opt to buy a digital e-gift card which will be sent to the recipient instantly at no charge.

  • Can I buy a gift card online and collect it in store?

    Yes, if you select our ship to store click & collect option at checkout.

  • How do I find out my gift card balance?

    You can check the balance on your gift card online by registering an account or signing into your account if you're already registered. Once signed in, go to My Account and select 'Check Gift Card Balance' and enter your card details.

    If you prefer speaking to a member of staff you can call or visit your near by Avoca and a member of our Avoca team will be happy to assist you at any till point.

    * Gift Card balance cannot be checked at our Kildare Village or Airport store.

  • Can I exchange my gift card or e-gift card for cash?

    No, the gift cards and e-gift cards may not be exchanged for cash.

  • I redeemed my gift card, however, did not finalise my purchase. Why is my gift card balance showing as redeemed?

    For security reasons, once you enter your gift card number and select apply our system will hold this value for 24-36 hrs regardless if the sale was finalised. Please wait and try again. If your balance has not resumed after 24-36 hrs contact us.

  • Can I return my gift card or e-gift card?

    No, we do not accept returns on gift cards or e-gift cards.

  • I bought items using a gift card and I want to return them, how will I be refunded?

    If returned to our online store, your will recieve your refund onto a new digital e-gift card.

    If returning to stores, you will receive your refund onto a gift card.

  • I am having issues with my gift card, who do I contact?

    If you purchased your gift card or digital e-gift card online, please contact our online customer care team.
