How many years has the Avoca been weaving?
Avoca have been weaving throws and blankets since 1723. The mill is part of the community and the trade has been passed down from generatation. At a time whole families worked together at the mill.
How many people are involved in making an Avoca throw?
Although there are many hands that go into making one of our famous throws, such as designers, weavers and finishers, people are always surprised at the small team for the number of products produced at our mill.
