Avoca Sponsor's Irish Made Awards 2023

Jul 07, 2022

We are thrilled to announce that we are once again sponsoring the Home category in this year's Irish Made Awards for the third year running!

We are honoured to be a part of the awards, as of course Irish design, craft and heritage is very close to our hearts and is something we love to champion. Online & in our stores, we stock a host of independent Irish makers, artists and designers. Of course we also still weave our own range of throws, scarves and clothing in our little Wicklow Mill, where third generation weavers still work today.

Back for it's 5th year running, we are thrilled to be welcoming Irish businesses back to showcase their talent, tenacity and innovation for the Irish Made Awards 2023.  You can find out more about the Irish made Awards by Irish Country Magazine here.

Our Director of Creative, Marketing & Buying, Maoliosa Connell, is delighted to be a part of the awards this year: ''This year, Avoca are celebrating a very significant milestone; 300 Years as Ireland’s oldest weaving mill. Avoca as a brand remains connected to our craft and are immensely proud of our heritage. That is why we are so happy to be back again for the third year in a row sponsoring the Irish Made awards.'' Supporting as many artisan Irish suppliers as possible across food and retail is at the heart of all that we do, and we are proud to stock so many talented makers which our customers have grown to love. '

A huge thank you to Irish Country Magazine and the Irish Made Awards for allowing us to be a part of something so special, and good luck to all the wonderfully talented creators and makers who are entering! We have no doubt there will be a lot of stiff competition. In the meantime. why not browse our online range of homewares, and our beautiful selection of Irish made gifting!
